RACE IS ON! - FEB 1 & 2
Race is on - PRIEST LAKE SLED DOG RACE 2025
The 53rd Priest Lake Sled Dog Race is taking place February 1 & 2 2025 in beautiful Priest Lake, Idaho! Everyone is invited to come out and join in the fun. Teams ranging from 1 dog to 8 dogs will compete in this exciting and competitive event. Spectators can attend free of charge, but registration is required for those who wish to compete. The Drivers meeting will commence at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning, and the races will start at around 9:30 AM, continuing through the early afternoon. The Drivers meeting will take place at 8:00 AM on Sunday, with races beginning at 9:00 AM and continuing throughout the afternoon.
Mid-Distance: 8 Dog and 6 Dog (20mi) A minimum of 5 entries 2 weeks before the race date will be required to hold this event
Sprint: 8 Dog Sprint (9 miles), 6 Dog Sprint (5.7 miles), 4 Dog Sprint (4.7 miles), 4 Dog Sprint Youth/Junior (4.7 miles), Novice Sprint (2.4 miles)
Skijor: 2-dog Skijoring (4.7 miles), 1-dog Skijoring (2.4 miles)
Other: Fat Bikejor (2.4 miles, only if enough entries), Novice Youth/Junior (1 mile), Teddy Bear (Saturday only)
